In the following episode we speak with Bernard Chiira, Founder of Africa’s 1st Assistive Technology Accelerator based in Nairobi, Kenya, to talk about his life growing up with scoliosis and his mission to raise the business profile of investing in assistive tech Startups in Africa. 

We discuss the accessibility, equity and affordability of assistive technology in Africa and how regulation must meet the needs of innovation in order to get the technology into the hands of those who need it most.
