The Blind Companion Card Scheme pilot is launching on the 1st April, where 8000 blind and partially sighted will be able to travel with a companion without charge.

Amelia went along to the launch at Anniesland Station in Glasgow to speak to Sight Scotland, Scotrail and MSP Kaukab Stewart.

Here she is with Colette Walker, Co-Chair of The Sight Scotland Policy Group, about her involvement in the scheme and why lived experience is vital for policy development.
