Parking on pavements forces people to step out into the road and if you're blind or partially sighted, this can be even more dangerous.

The charity Guide Dogs is asking the public to sign it’s petition to remind the government about the issue and put in place legislation to help crack down on pavement parking.

RNIB Connect Radio’s Allan Russell spoke to Pete Bungay, from Guide Dogs, and guide dog owner Julie about the problem.
