Saturday night’s have become even more inclusive and accessible to blind and partially sighted Strictly Come Dancing fans as if you have audio description selected on your TV sets or selected on BBC iPlayer you may have noticed that now for the strictly Come Dancing Saturday night live shows there is live audio description too! 

RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey was joined straight from the Strictly Ballroom by Georgina Rose, Red Bee Media Audio Describer who has been working on and delivering the live audio description for the Saturday night live Strictly show as well as the recorded description for the Sunday night results show. 

Toby began by asking Georgina as a big fan of Strictly whether this was a dream description job for her before finding out how Georgina prepares for the show, working on her audio description of the dances and how it all works on the night itself.

Don’t forget to tune in to Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One on Saturday nights and make sure that you have AD selected on your TV set or via the BBC iPlayer to hear Georgina’s great live audio description for the Saturday night live shows.
