Biffery Braxton found a love for sailing in the year 2000 aboard his friend's Pearson 30, Prozac. As crew, Biffery raced weeknights in the Chesapeake Bay, also participating in inland, coastal, and ocean racing and cruising. These include the Annapolis to Bermuda Race, St. Mary's College of Maryland's Governor's Cup Yacht Race, Tred Avon Yacht Club's Oxford Regatta, BCYA Harbor Cup Regatta, and Block Island Race Week. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Biffery and his wife, Kimberly Citizen, sailed to Georgetown, Bahamas, before returning to Baltimore aboard Ananda, a 2020 Hanse 458, their third sailing vessel.
