Westonbirt, the National Arboretum runs regular Sensing Nature Walks for visitors lead by trained blind and partially sighted Volunteer Guides.
Following on from the great success of their current Sensing Nature Walks Westonbirt are looking to recruit more blind and partially sighted people as Volunteer Guides.
RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey caught up with Ben Oliver, Learning and Participation Manager at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum to find out more about the history of Westonbirt, the success of the Sensing Nature Walks and what they are looking for from new blind and partially sighted Volunteer Guides.
