Chris Döigenstëin is a singer and guitarist known for playing with Green Jellÿ, Gwell-o and his solo project Döigenstëin. He also does some work as a recording engineer, a painter of customized guitar designs, and a costume maker and designer most notably for using duct tape. He is also a big fan of horror and pop culture.

Döigenstëin is a new up and coming rock band based out of Salem, MA. While delivering heavy riffs and fun guitar solos through high octane shows their mission is to keep rock alive with new music and powerful live performances.

Combining many sounds from rock and metal with 90s influenced grunge and alternative plus melodic guitar shredding and horror themes, they bring you a unique and modern twist on rock! With songs about drugs, insomnia, ghosts, guitar solos, depression, heart break and generally deep thoughts their shows are always crowd pleasers and they make new fans wherever they go.

Named as a combination from their dynamic singer and lead guitarist plus a Frankenstein referenced nickname, Döigenstëin is the brain child of Chris Doig (Chris Döigenstëin) and his vision of monster rock! Döigenstëin is also comprised of the smooth rhythm section of Kerry Cummings and Rob Countie, plus Tim Howland bringing a monstrous sound on drums!

Döigenstëin has received current air play on local radio stations including WAAF, and has performed at recent events such as North East Comic Con. They released their debut EP “Manifested" in February 2020, available on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and more
