To clear up confusion, the intention was not to say this of all four Gospels, but that a case can be made for Mark and possibly Matthew that they could have been written as early as 40-55 AD. Furthermore, the Gospel of John is widely considered to be the last Gospel written and was most likely written less than 100 years after Christ.
