In this episode I give my recap of my first QuiltCon experience, and how the virtual QuiltCon did this year. I have to say, I really enjoyed Virtual Quiltcon 2021 from the comfort of my home. I am not a natural social butterfly, and this suited me so well!
I will talk about some of the highlights from the quilt design, hand stitching, and Boro workshops I took, as well as the many different lectures I attended.
On my podcast blog page, I posted photos of my projects from the workshops I took at QuiltCon. My goal was to complete projects from these classes, and not have to stuff them in a box to "finish later".
There has been buzz chatter about the rising prices of quilt fabrics, and where you should purchase your fabrics, and" warning warning, danger Will Robninson" LOL! A little dramatic, I know, but there are ways to take the price increase in stride and not let it ruin our creative quilting parade. I wrote a lot about this on my podcast blog post.
