On this show, the Listen Local crew heads back to their alma mater - Pequot Lakes High School - to catch up with the Head Coach of the Varsity Football team AND Athletic Director, Bill Magnuson. Mags, who was just named the MN Vikings High School Coach of the Week, dives into what made this team "special," and what's gone into the undefeated regular season as they head into playoffs. This wasn't the first time Mags has been on the show either, last year he stopped by before the 2023 season started to chat football. Oh, and since that show.. his Patriots have only lost 1 regular season game in two years!
Also, hopping on this episode, while they were on their lunch break are Quarterback Michael Oseland and Defensive star Jackson Jorgens to chat about the "buzz" behind this year's team.

After the football team hops off the show, a special guest stopped by, High School Principal Aaron Nelson to talk all things PLHS. From this weekend's home football playoff game to winter sports kicking off to Nerf Wars... yes, you heard us right, NERF WARS!

Oh, and you think that's all? Oh no... ANOTHER special guest stopped by, the one and only Pequot Lakes Police Chief Mike Davis. Chief Davis discusses the hype behind Pequot Lakes sports in general, how they have become a sports powerhouse - both boys and girls sports - and how he and his police force enjoy working at sporting event's like this weekend's football game.
