“Saaya, Shaap Aur Shmashaan” unfolds in real time during a rural midnight ritual meant to remove illness-causing spirits. A priest accidentally invokes the wrong entity—a shadow demon from the cremation ground. The spirit separates from his body and transfers into another villager. Instead of leaving, it claims the entire village. The ritual becomes a yearly sacrifice cycle.
