Orthopaedics can be defined as the medical specialty concerned with correction of deformities or functional impairments of the skeletal system, especially the extremities and the spine, and associated structures, as muscles and ligaments.
A human being has more than 300 bones and joints in the body. If just one of them isn’t functioning properly, this could lead in for a world of pain and discomfort. This is where Orthopaedic treatment comes in.
