In this edition of King's Flashback, we go back to December of 2015, where the Kings welcomed the Knicks into the Sleep Train Arena for their lone national TV game on TNT that season. This was George Karl's only full season with the Kings and it was a tumultuous time for the Kings behind the scenes. It was also prime DeMarcus Cousins who wreaked havoc on the court and behind the scenes.

But this game was a small bright spot for the Kings, where the Kings were able to execute their game plan and survive against a similarly chaotic Knicks team. And if you're wondering why this game, it's because it was the first game Podcast hosts Owen and Fong's first live game together.

The King's preseason schedule has been released and the Kings have 5 games with 4 different teams. 2 games against the Warriors and 1 against the Lakers, Raptors and Jazz.

Neemias Queta has signed a standard deal with the Kings. The details of the deal have not been released but the likelihood is that him and Nerlens Noel duke it out in training camp to see who gets that final center spot.

In the Sac Kings Therapy tradition of the offseason, Podcast hosts Owen and Fong go over a retro game from a different time for the Kings, usually from the King's glory years. In this edition, we go to a more recent game in NBA history, one in which the Kings made history by being the first team ever, out of 8,378 games to come back down 17 with less than 3 minutes to go to win the game against the Timberwolves.

Yes, this is the game in which the Kings make the most impossible comeback in NBA history, the Kings showed a never say die spirit that would turn their season around briefly before the pandemic shut everything down.

This game was a fascinating one to go back and look at, where the Kings and Wolves were as franchises at this time, the storylines going around the NBA, the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant the day before and much more. It feels like an eternity ago even though it's only been 3 years but it feels like of a entirely different time just before the start of the pandemic.

It's an incredibly journey down memory lane.

In what will now be dubbed as the Series of Random on Sac King Therapy, Podcast hosts Owen and Fong decide to watch the much acclaimed Kuroko no Basket. The series is about a young man named Tetsuya Kuroko trying to find a situation where he can play true team basketball after leaving the best team in Japan. The anime was a hit when it first came out in 2012 and the hosts decide if it still holds up to this day.

The Kings beat the Bucks in what will be presumably their final Summer League game. It was a chaotic game to say the least, the Kings jumped out to a huge lead by shooting the lights out from 3 in the first half. But they let Bucks back into the game by turning the ball over in the most silly ways. Ultimately, they were able to close them out and win going away but they made it way harder than it ever needed to be. Jalen Slawson, Souley Boum and Alex O'Connell showed out while getting solid contributions from the rest of the team. Outside of the turnovers, the Kings really played a complete game.

The details of the contract Sasha Vezenkov have been revealed by Michael Scotto of Hoophype. The 3 year contract include full guarantees for the 1st two years and a team option for the 3rd.
