The Kings get back in the win column at Summer League by decisively beating the Wolves. The Kings got solid games from the usual suspects, Jordan Ford, Kessler Edwards and Keon Ellis, but they were also aided by surprise showings from Alex O'Connell and Chance Comanche. The Kings will play the Bucks on Saturday in what could be their final Summer League game this year.

Marc Stein reported the availability of Pascal Siakam has changed and the Raptors are now more open to trading him. Could he be moved soon? And would that cause a cascading effect that could affect the Damian Lillard and Jame Harden trades?

The Kings lose 2 tough back to back games against the Clippers and Bulls. In the first game against the Clippers, the Kings had an ugly stretch in the 2nd quarter in which their offense abandoned them and they could not buy a bucket for over 5 minutes of game time. That stretch would doom them and that was where the game was lost. In the 2nd game, their offense was on point, shooting 51% FG, 46% from 3 and 82% from the FT line. But their defense wasn't there even though the effort was, as the Bulls shot lights out as well to match the King's ridiculous shooting and then some.

The Kings will face the Wolves on Thursday for what will likely be their final Summer League game as they are unlikely to make the playoffs in the Summer League.

The NBA has now officially announced the Mid-Season tournament and it's ... a lot. The Kings will be in Group C of the Western Conference along with Spurs, Warriors, Wolves, and Thunder. The rest of the tournament will ... be figured out as we go along because there's way too much explain and things will likely make more sense once it begins.

The Kings win their 1st Summer League game against the Hawks in Las Vegas. It was a rough game where neither team could put the ball in the bucket, but the Kings got big performances from Jordan Ford and Neemias Queta as well as timely shots from the rest of the team to pull this one out. We don't hear this often but the King's defense really smothered the Hawks and it paid off in crunch time. The Kings will now have 2 days off before they face the Clippers on Monday.

The much anticipated Victor Wembanyama debut unfortunately didn't live up to the hype. While he was very good on the defensive end, his offense as it stands currently needs a lot of work before he is the destroyer of worlds that he's been hailed as.

The 2023 California Classic just finished, and it provided a little bit of an appetizer for the main course that will be Summer League in the coming days. Kings fans got to see Colby Jones and Jalen Slawson for the first time, and they got to also see familiar faces such as Neemias Queta and Keon Ellis return and show their improvement. But Keegan Murray rightfully stole the show, dominating the game whilst clearly being the best player on the floor. The Kings now head to Las Vegas for Summer League but will do so without Murray and the newly signed Sasha Vezenkov. But the Kings have plenty of intriguing prospects and firepower to be able to compete out in the desert.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks have acquired Grant Williams and take another free agent off the table for the Kings to make a run at. It remains to be seen if Monte and Kings have another move left in their sleeve.

On a jammed packed opening few days of free agency, the Kings maintained and improved the roster with plenty of under the radar savvy moves. They acquired Chris Duarte, re-signed Trey Lyles, Alex Len and Domontas Sabonis, and successfully brought over Sasha Vezenkov from Greece to join the Kings this upcoming season. None of these moves are flashy by any means, but they definitely improved upon the roster they had even though many fans wished they made more flashy moves.

That being said, the rest of the league went bonkers with signings and extensions. The money that was spent for some players made plenty of jaws drop, or throw up.

We then pivot to the controversial ESPN layoffs and then end by talking about Money in the Bank which happened on Saturday, and man, it's was a great show.

Free agency starts on June 30th at 3 PM Pacific time, and the Kings are one of the few teams with significant cap space to make a move. One such move will likely be to fill the 4 position hopefully with a forward with some size who can shoot and play defense. Owen goes through a number of players the Kings could go after to fill that option.

Well, the 2023 NBA draft came and went. And stuff happened, boy did stuff happen. The Kings decided to trade their first round pick Olivier Maxence-Prosper along with Richaun Holmes to the Dallas Mavericks to open up cap space. They did draft Colby Jones and Jalen Slawson in the 2nd round, both look to be ready made contributors and could likely find their way into the Kings rotation during the season.

In other Kings related news, Lindsey Harding will become the Stockton Kings head coach this upcoming season and Anjali Ranadive will become the Stockton Kings General Manager, making them the first female Head Coach and GM tandem in the G-League.

And then in trade news, Kristaps Porzingis is heading to the Celtics while Marcus Smart is going to be a Grizzlies while the Wizards will be welcoming Tyus Jones, Danillo Gallinari and Mike Muscala. And in a bizarro world trade, Chris Paul is now a Warrior ... while Washington receive Jordan Poole and the Warriors 2030 protected 1st round pick and a 2027 second round pick. What a world ...

The NBA draft is 3 days away and Owen and Fong go through all the draft prospects they did and pick out their favorites as well as who they think the Kings will pick on Thursday.

They also go over the blockbuster deal of Bradley Beal being traded to the Suns, ending the Beal-Wizards era in Washington with a wet fart.

Will this be a sign of things to come as we go full steam ahead into what will be a bonkers offseason?

In what will be the final draft episode for 2023, Owen and Fong go over Tristan Vukcevic, Jett Howard and Jaime Jacques Jr. In a contrast to last episode, all 3 players here are incredibly dynamic offense players with varying levels of defensive questions marks. Kings will have to take a gamble if they pick one of these guys that their offensive capabilities can overcome their defensive deficiencies.

In what has been a fruitful few days for Kings news, they got a new beam that will shine brighter. And they have entered the chat on the Bradley Beal and OG Anunoby sweepstakes. The Kings look to be big game hunting in the offseason and if they pull the trigger on a big trade, it very well can take the Kings to the next level.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets close out the Heat in game 5 at home to win their first ever NBA Championship. The Nugget were a dominant force in this years playoffs, finishing 12-4, and it's just the start to what will be a juggernaut in the NBA for years to come.

And to close out, Owen and Fong talk about the possibility of Zion being on the move with the rumors of the Pelicans wanting to move up in the draft to get Scoot Henderson. Also, shoutout to the Oakland A's fans that showed up to the reverse boycott game, you deserve better than John Fischer.
