Saul's son calls Abner a concubine-humping dog, which offends Abner so much he switches teams, but David wants his wife back, and Joab murders Abner before anything gets resolved, so it's all a hot mess.

Husband and Wife cover 2 Samuel chapter 2: David Made King over Judah / David Fights against the Forces of Saul. Suddenly we learn that Saul had another son, who turns out was King of Israel for a hot minute, at the same time that David is King of Judah, which is all very confusing to Husband. A trip to the Pool of Morons solves nothing.

Husband and Wife cover 2 Samuel chapter 1: David Learns of Saul's Death / David's Lament over Saul and Jonathan. The Bible continues to be full of contradictions as it's now unclear who killed Saul. David continues to prove he's a by committing an extremely unjustified murder. And we continue to be really bad at singing ridiculous OT songs.
