Sadie shares her experiences as a ghost-writer. She talks about the process of working with her current client, a professional baseball player.  She talks about her career up to this point, being a parent, and finding her path.

Corporate was not a fit for Sadie. Then she tried pampered chef. Then she started shifting into consulting, and that's where she started doing interior design. She just figured it out as she went along. After the arrival of her third child, she had to put it on the back burner. She went to grad school in hopes to get back into interior design one day. But it didn't lead right back into interior design, she instead started writing for businesses.

After about four years into the writing business, she decided to start up the interior design business again! The second time around she is much more process-oriented and that has made the business more efficient and makes her able to service her clients better. 

Sadie shares her perspective of herself now versus before she turned 40.

We had a compelling conversation about how starting out most creative types don't charge what they are worth or do projects for low cost to build up their portfolio and that is not sustainable. We talk about the mental process of realizing that it's okay to charge what you are worth and provide quality products and services to your clients.

Right now there seems to a trend in the business world that everyone should consider writing a book. Sadie shares her perspective on this trend.
