रात के जुगनू भी अब मेरे यार को बुलाते हैं

ये हिज्र के जज़्बात बड़े दिल को सताते हैं

कुछ किरदार तो आए दिल बहलाने मगर

तेरे जैसा इश्क कभी फिर मैने पाया नहीं

उम्मीद क्या रखूं अब किसी से

जिस से रखी वो तो कभी वापस आया नहीं

सफर में एक बार जो ठोकर खाई

और जो नीचे गिर गई वो मेरी मोहब्बत थी

उठाई नही गई क्योंकि हिज्र के पलों ने मुझे रोक दिया

खामोश लफ्ज़ रहे ,बस नजरों ने हाल ए दिल बोल दिया

तुमसे बहुत कुछ कहना था

फिर भी दिमाग ने दिल को रोक दिया
