The gents are ready for Friday and it shows. Chris, Travis, Gaines, and..... CHRIS GARDNER are in studio. Gardner stops by to chat about the 9448547 radio shows he's been a part of and announces he'll be taking over producing duties moving forward on the morning show.

Chris finds himself alone with himself for an hour.  What man or woman among us can survive an hour alone with his or her own thoughts when coupled with the requirement to speak out loud to a faceless unseen audience?  See if our hero survives this test.

Travis and Chris go deep on Mizzou's recruiting woes, and go further down the Quincy Jones rabbit hole.

Reena Calm is in town to help celebrate Comedy Here's Kelsey McClure's birthday, and support Planned Parenthood at a special  show tonight at The Duck Room at Blueberry Hill.  Based out of Chicago, Reena's a nationally touring comedian who also teaches new comics the ways of the craft at Second City in Chicago.

We're all on Romneycare in the studio. Happy birthday, Garth Brooks. Jeff had to crush some toast last night. Travis thinks MPJ is coming back and that it's the biggest news of the day. MPJ might be playing in Kentucky. Travis is pretending like he never thought the Mizzou season was over but all of the sudden it looks like they can handle it. Mizzou winning out their home games should get them into the tournament, but that's not as simple as it sounds. MPJ is going to be all over the recruiting pamphlets for Mizzou no matter what. Minnesota scratched Chris Stewart last night and it's Black History Month. Dr. Ed is here to talk blood drive and animals. Jeff is terrified of needles. Hairless cats have weird feeling skin. Feral dogs took down some donkeys at a zoo. Travis may be at risk of giving his dog Robitussin. Dr. Ed made the bold choice of going with the slow cooker on This Is Us Sunday and he was not happy with Justin Timberlake. It turns out that Dr. Ed is a chicken wing expert. Travis forgot when the dog parade was. Dr. Ed has never eaten a sick pet. Travis is astonished that people shoot their own cows. Dr. Ed hits a grand slam with a quality pig joke. 

Host Chris Cyr is joined by one of St. Louis's newest comics, Meredith Hopping. They discuss what it's like to be in your first year of comedy in St. Louis, the weirdness of comedy competitions, and her fear of the rapture.

The PECOTA numbers confirm a lot of the huge concerns that Cardinals fans have about the pitching staff. Adding an additional starter would put pressure on the Cardinals to make a move with Wainwright and they may not be ready to do that yet. Wacha is an incredibly hard guy to gauge value on. It's National Signing Day! Is Mizzou going to be able to lock down Michael Thompson? We could probably have all gotten pickleball scholarships. Black Panther is crushing the Rotten Tomatoes game. Chris thinks White Panther wouldn't get the same kind of reaction. The Game of Thrones show runners are getting a series of Star Wars movies. Chris only sees movies with Adam Scott. The Last Jedi sent all the minority characters to commit a break-in. Chris refuses to let women run a Star Wars movie. Elon Musk launched his Tesla to space yesterday. What did Elon Musk hide in his glove compartment? Elon Musk got Africa into space. Travis will rep Black Panther no matter what. Sinbad lit up Justin Timberlake this weekend. Could Sterling K. Brown be in a remake of Dumb and Dumber? Travis has a defense of Robert California. Mizzou may not be able to grab enough on signing day for next year's football team to be any good.
