The Cardinals had an off day and we have no idea what to do with ourselves. Sox with a big win last night and the Cards are going to have a hard time keeping up with the Cubs. Good news - hockey hot takes are on the way. What’s the President doing? Is it so hard to be a uniting figure? Gaines is here and we’re talking rivalries. It was hard to hate the Cubs and Blackhawks as kids because they were so bad, but everyone still hates the Red Wings.

We kick off the show with some talk about the one and only Clay Travis and his schtick. Some Cardinals talk takes us through the next part of the hour. It’s a long weekend of headaches, soup, and smoking ribs. The Cards win and then they lose. Why bother with Brett Cecil when you still have Tyler Lyons in the house? Khris Davis deals with yips while he throws but he’s a DH so it may not matter much. John Peterson of the Tulsa Oilers calls in to talk about the new affiliation. The hour kicks off recapping the weekend that was. The Cards win streak comes to end, they were in first place for 18 hours. The Rally Cat was found and local politicians are using it against the Missouri Governor. Events in Charlottesville and Michael Brown's anniversary sparked protestors outside of Busch Stadium on Saturday night. Did you know Chris and Travis went to LA that one time? Chris and Hal Sparks whacky weekend together. Soup sucks. 

Gaines calls a High School football play. Travis gives some dating advice to all the fellas out there. Someone posted from the We Are Live account on Facebook. The morning melee is released about hated Rivals. Tragic events in Charlottesville take us through the majority of the rest of the hour. 

Fair or Foul is given to the people. Parkway North @ Parkway Central is our first game for Friday Night Live. Pat Imig joins us to discuss the excitement of Friday Night Live. Marshawn Lynch and Michael Bennett both sat during the National Anthems this past weekend. A lawsuit has been filed about the Scottrade Center renovations.
