I was nervous about this one but I’m going to share. People sometimes ask me about parenting, being a single mom, and my relationship with my son’s father. So here it is, all out in the open. Life comes at you fast! And as you want more out of life and are responsible for more - it comes even faster. On this episode I detail why I’ve decided (starting Dec 1 2023) to put everything on pause and how I was able to do that by negotiating my terms. I told my job Im not quitting but I’m also not coming in for a few months. (yes, another sabbatical haha). I told the man I thought I’ve loved for nearly a decade, I can’t yo-yo with my emotions and him another day. I even told my landlord I’m not signing another year lease but I don’t intend to move. They all said “no” but I stood firm and guess what - they all agreed. Now I’m on a journey of selfish discovery. What do I like? What do I want? Who am I without interruptions? Idk. Let’s see!
