Later this week, the college football season officially kicks off, although it will look a little different this year with constant monitoring of COVID symptoms and even “sold-out” games consisting of mostly empty seats. The start of the season will mark a big step forward in the sports world’s march back to normal.
To provide insight into how college sports will be resuming this fall, we invited on regular MarketScale ( https://marketscale.com/industries ) contributor and University of North Texas ( https://www.unt.edu/ ) Athletic Director, Wren Baker ( https://marketscale.com/industries/contributors/wren-baker/ ). Baker was able to walk us through how the school will be letting fans in through the gates this weekend at 25% capacity, adding that concessions will also have a much bigger emphasis on contactless ordering and delivery.
