Acts 12:1-25

James is martyred, and Peter is in prison. It seems like the Gospel momentum will stop. But we find that the Christian Gospel is unstoppable!  Let’s discover what happens when we choose to become active Gospel teammates!

Matthew 5:10-12

Faithful Christ followers will face opposition and even persecution. Let’s get ready for this reality and encourage and support those who are being persecuted around the world.

Acts 11:19-30

God uses the church at Antioch as a timeless example of how followers of Christ are supposed to live and serve. Let’s choose to do much more than just go to church. Let’s be the church – for God’s glory and to receive God’s amazing blessings that come with our obedience!

Hebrews 12

This Father's Day, we will take a look at Hebrews and the "Hall of Faith" and let it bring to mind those people in our life's journey who have encouraged, supported, and called us to live a Godly life.

Matthew 5:9

Every Christian is meant to be a peacemaker in the home, community and in the church. We are to pursue peace, strive for peace, and live peaceably with all. It has been said “we can negatively or positively affect others." Simply put that means we should not become stumbling blocks but rather be stepping stones. To be a peacemaker there are some things that a person should not be and some things a person should be! In this message we consider several of each. A peacemaker describes those who are at peace with God, those who work to settle quarrels and to bring peace through the ministry of reconciliation to unbelievers in the world. A peacemaker is a person who has a new: heart, perspective, purpose, posture, and pronouncement! 

Acts 11:1-18

When we follow Christ as Savior and Lord, we receive an awesome package of gifts - one of them is the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). Christian growth begins and continues with our thought process. Let's look together at six ways that God wants to change our thinking.

Matthew 5:9

The Lord God is the model peacemaker. In this message we look back to the garden of Eden we’re perfect peace existed and then was lost. We look forward to the new heaven and a new earth we’re perfect peace shall be regained. But until then we Look around and recognize peace in the present has been provided.

Acts 10:1-48

What happens when we live as if all lives matter? Peter goes out of his way to reach out to Cornelius, who is a Roman military leader, plus he connects with Cornelius' family and friends. Most Jews would have despised and ignored all of these Gentiles. Let's be transformed as we affirm, learn, and apply some powerful truths from Peter's strong example.

Romans 13:1-7

Without law and order there would be chaos! First, God has established the government to serve as stewards over people that they might live peaceful and quiet lives. The government and its leaders will give an account to God. The Scripture teaches that government: has a both role and responsibility. Christians should remember: the cause of war - sin, the cost of war - blood, the casualties of war - life, and the cure for war - Jesus Christ.

Luke 6:15-16

.

The examples of the least known of Jesus' disciples show us how God can use each one of us to make a positive difference in today's world. Judas, Simon, and James inspire us toward a growing commitment for missions, a growing passion for the gospel, and a growing heart for those ignored by this world.
