Followers of Christ are commissioned to share God's love and the gospel with others. This commission sparks two significant questions in the minds of many Christians: "If we want to reach the world, what should we do?" and "How can I do this in a way others can hear?

Many books and advice from well-meaning people often get the first step in building relationships wrong. The Bible tells us that cultivating a love for others must start with a love for God, and this love FOR God begins with love FROM God.

Love. We all hope to give and receive it in some way to someone sometime in our lives. Yet it can be easily misunderstood, misused, or misguided. Pastor Justin Greene pulls some observations out of Mark chapter 12 about what God says love is and looks like.

As we head into a new ministry year at SHC, Pastor Pete Potloff gives us a charge to focus on three things: Seeking Christ continually, worshipping corporately, and praying consistently.

Guest speaker, Lee Lewis, takes us to Galatians chapter 6 as he presents the biblical foundation of "soul care" - the ministry of counseling and walking alongside others through the gospel.
