Stephenie Flora, president of the board of directors for Lee Mission Cemetery in northeast Salem, joined us to share the history of this cemetery in which Jason Lee and many of the early Methodist missionaries are interred, as well as others who were active in the Methodist settling of the Oregon Territory.

Elisabeth Walton Potter, historian and representative of the Friends of Pioneer Cemetery in south Salem , provides an overview of this early Salem cemetery which encompasses the IOOF Odd Fellows Rural Cemetery and is one of two Salem cemeteries listed on the National Register of Historic places.
