Unless you've been living in a deep cave on the surface of the moon with your hands over your ears, you might have heard that there is an election coming up in the United States, and apparently every single person is going to throw their hat in the ring for President.
Well, as much as I am entertained by this circus, I also sometimes feel a sense of forboding about the future of private businesses like mine. What if some ultra-zealous politician decides to enact a 20% tax on everything sold online? The Europeans did it, and it's about as popular as leprosy, not to mention that it makes selling ecommerce products in Europe a massive pain.
In this episode, I talk about how the only constant in business is change, and those who cannot adapt to change are the ones who will not succeed.
I also would like to say "welcome" to the many, many Tom Wood's show listeners who are joining thanks to the mention that I received on Tom's podcast, which you can find here. I got the hosting for the site through Tom's link, and one of the perks is that he gives you a "shout-out". The number of downloads went from 30 per day, to over 150, so that's pretty sweet!
Also also, I'm looking for some guests to interview! If you have even a modest level of success selling Print on Demand products, I would LOVE to have you on the show, or even just to read your story if you aren't keen on being "live". Send me an email, or comment on any episode, and I will set something up. I have begun to arrange some more "high level" guests as well, but since the theme of the show so far has been getting started, I think people would appreciate hearing the story of someone who is just getting started and seeing some results.
