Print on Demand is seasonal, but when things are hot, they really are HOT!

  • E21 - Why can't I get any sales?

Two episodes in one week?  Yes, because I missed last week, so I am making up by posting two right now!

Today, I am addressing a question that I see and hear more often than any other, which is: "Why am I not seeing very many sales?"

Getting your first sale is amazing, and there is truly nothing quite like it, but a business is built around many sales, and it can be quite discouraging to spend a lot of time working on a new business, and not see the kind of results that you would like to see.

In this episode, I tackle three of the biggest reasons that you might not be seeing any sales, and I also give you some tips to push past, and find that success spot.

The secret is, that there are no secrets!  Consistency is the key, and coming up with new ideas and listing them is the most valuable thing that you can do to grow your Print on Demand business.

PS - You can join me and thousands of other sellers in the Low Hanging System, which is the exact training I took to get to over $5,500 in monthly sales (as of right now)

  • E20 - Set and achieve SMART goals for your business

Many new sellers spend months, or even years without a true vision of what is truly going to make their business grow and prosper.

Setting goals is a vital part of moving your business from ok to amazing.  Success isn't going to fall into your hands from a magical hole in the sky, it comes from working towards your goals in a systematic way.

In this episode, I was on the road and away from home, but I'm sharing with you some tremendously valuable insights that I picked up, and that I'm using to set priorities, and make concrete, achievable plans.

Don't let a lack of motivation distract you from being successful, make a SMART plan today!

  • E19 - Selling Print on Demand with Facebook ads

CAVEAT:  This strategy is quite a bit more advanced than what I have been talking about up to this point.  Please don't feel like you have to try it, unless you have a bit of money that you are ok with spending, and you don't expect much from the test.

Facebook ads and Print on Demand are a DEVASTATING, yet challenging combination.  I know a lot of sellers who are making a significant amount of money with this strategy, but they have a specific way that they execute it.

In this episode, I talk a bit about how this work, and why I'm not (currently) doing this.

  • E18 - Time Management - TRIPLE your productivity!

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is an actor, a coach, and a professional bodybuilder.  He eats over 5,000 calories per day, and spends 2.5 hours in the gym 6 times per week.  Oh, and he appears in a major hollywood movie every week or so.  His schedule is planned down to the minute, and he has maintained his success for nearly a decade now, with no sign of slowing down.

Most of us will never achieve that kind of mastery over our time, but it sure is great to see what a person can accomplish if they can develop the kind of discipline that the Rock seems to exude!

In this episode, I will share some of the ways that you can make the most of your limited time, and turn your business from a few sales a month, to hundreds or thousands of dollars per day!

  • E17 - Product review and advice for new sellers

The Devil is in the details, as they say.

In the case of selling Print on Demand products, the details can make a big difference, since the entire product is simply the printed text or image.

Join me today as I review some of the products of one of our listeners, Code Named "D", and offer some tips to improve the listings, as well as getting some faster movement on slow selling items.  Pay particular attention to my comments about creating titles for this episode.

I also discuss the success of one of my mentors, Bank, and I reveal the simple, yet profound secret that he is using to absolutely crush the Print on Demand method.

Join me next week, as I discuss everyone's favourite topic, Time Management!

  • E16 - 3 Stupid mistakes that DESTROY eCommerce enterprises

How do you like that clickbait title?  I don't usually like to "overplay" anything that I talk about on the show, but as a keen observer of people, I notice things, and I've been seeing a "pattern" when it comes to the mistakes that can drive a person to abandon their business.

In today's show, I'm going to share with you some of my insights into human behaviour...not that I am a psychologist, but I read a lot, and I like to use social media to help new people get their business off the ground.

Speaking of social media, you can join me and 6,500 other Print on Demanders on a secret Facebook group that is honestly one the of most value-packed things I've ever joined!  The Low Hanging system is a training course, with a massive, growing group of experienced sellers who are there to help you get your business off the ground.

  • E15 - Trademarks, Copyright and Print on Demand

    "Boy Mom"

    "Savage AF"

    "Home Brewed"

This is a small sample of the commonly used phrases that have been trademarked by unscrupulous sellers, who are attempting to "corner" the market demand for a popular phrase.  The legal system is a popular club for some business owners, and it is a problem in the Print on Demand world.

In this episode, I talk about the difference between Trademark and Copyright, how it relates to your business, the types of things that you must avoid using on your products, and how to check for Trademarks on a phrase that you'd like to use.

**Disclaimer**  It should already be apparent to you that I'm just a Redneck Canadian with no legal degree, and my words in this here podcast ain't no legal advice.

That being said, I usually summarize my thoughts on this topic with the following advice:  If someone else came up with an idea, and published it, don't use it!  There are thousands of great ideas that are not Trademarked, so there is no need to "steal" the work of others.

  • E14 - Merch by Amazon - The Good, the Bad, and the Interesting

Merch by Amazon is a VERY competative business model!  Nevertheless, it is not impossible to get into, and it can be a nice little "side" hustle, if you are already creating designs and selling them on other platforms.  Getting started can be quite tricky, and most people who are approved don't make much money, because they don't know how to jump the first few "hurdles", and get to the higher Tiers.

In this episode, I share some honest thoughts and strategies about getting rolling with Merch, which should help you get past the initial roadblocks, and start getting some paychecks from Amazon.
