Tonight’s Hump of the week 7@7 interview is with one of my favorite avant-garde hairdressers the amazingly talented & creative owner of Chameleon Hair Salon David Murray. A former Irish Hairdresser of the year three times, David has won numerous awards in Ireland and Internationally, while running his salon for over 20 years. David is part of the international Joico creative team. His avant-garde hairdressing is second to none. David has gone from building a salon team of 30 to choosing to down size to a team of 6 as he felt this best suited the style of salon he wanted and allowed him the time to travel in his educator role for Joico. She opened her own salon ,Ebony  and Ivory for 2 and a 1/2 years returning to Peter Mark and artistic team led by Gary Kavanagh,  before moving to Pzazz. Then finding her hair home with  fellow passionate industry creative Mark McCauley at Kazumi and has been a big part of the team there for the past 26 years. With a much varied career, from salon work, which She continues to do daily and loves and respects her loyal salon guests. Fashion work, shoots and shows for international and local  designers have been a personal pleasure along with  her TV and Film work . Jenni has been a key Educator for several product companies and salons throughout Ireland, UK and Paris. Has been a Judge on many a competition floor and photographic competitions. Jenni describes herself as an all time hair adventurer,  always happiest when pushing her creative ability. So sit back and enter the Hairdressing aventure of a salon creative warrior.

Tonights Hump of the week 7@7 interview is with the one and only Katrina Kelly Perry of Cut Social. Katrina one of the most influential hairdressing vloggers in Ireland and a much sought after salon educator at home in Ireland and abroad. A lady who’s not afraid to show her emotions and express her honest views. She leads a passionate team in her Phisboorogh salon. So grab a beverage sit back and be entertained by this amazing lady.

With a career spanning 31 years from TV to runway shows ,11 L'oreal colour trophy shows to date  of which were 6 eliminator's and 5 grand finals, you can tell Stephen is a hair stylist in demand, some of the awards accumulated in his fantastic career to date have been, winner of the I H F creative fantasy 2000 and runner up two years later this shows Stephens passion for creativity. 

Stephen has also worked on some well know TV shows including; The MTV music awards 2003 in  Edinburgh, RTE fashion show Off the rails, He's been a guest artist on TV3 makeovers  and Expose glam squad live makeovers.

Stephen feels his vast experience gathering information from current trends and a good instinct as to what suits face shapes and hair types, also his passion for precision cutting has helped him combine bespoke looks for his guests.

I'm so  delighted to have as my guest on this episode, Industry visionary  Paul Davey. Paul will share his early beginnings cutting friends hair along with his brother Ian in the family home in Wales when only teenagers. My guest in this episode is someone who I had the pleasure of being her first manager in hairdressing 33 years ago the lady I call superstar Carolann McGuirk. Back then she showed a passionate drive and determination to achieve her goals in hairdressing. This has led this lady to multi awards in her fantastic career to date. Carolann started her career in Peter Mark working her way from apprentice to senior stylist and academy educator. Moving to Charles Wordington in London for two years during this time got to work on London Fashion Week and introduced to TV work. On returning Carolann joined Alan Bruton at exclusive Dublin 2 Reds Hair Salon. Through her hard work and determination Carolann got the opportunity to work as lead Hair Stylist of such smash hit TV shows The Voice Ireland, Operation Transformation & Dancing with the Stars. In 2021 Carolann got her dream gig being a Hairdresser on the latest Disney movie to be filmed in Ireland Disenchanted and all this while running a busy salon column. You would think there's nothing left for Carolann to achieve in her career but knowing the lady there's a lot more to come in the future.
