    On this episode of Salty Hunter Podcast Gary and Christian take a step back from talking about hunting, and highlight a man that inspired and continues to inspire Gary. Dick Proenneke built a remote cabin in Twin Lakes Alaska in the late 1960s, and lived there for over 30 years chronicling his adventures through his journal.

Gary goes and argues the proposal of shutting down unit 23 and 26A in Alaska from "local" or non-resident hunters in the middle of the season. Gary uses facts and the administration's own numbers to build a strong argument.
