Same Team Y'all!

Eric and Tess celebrate fifty wonderful episodes by singing all new segment music… live… without planning it out first… and often singing over each other. The line between adorable and unbearable is a thin one! Also loves, tales, and lessons abound! Thank you so much for listening!

Our friendly librarians are back and gushing about their loves, tales and life lessons like it’s nobody’s business! Tess loves another podcast (no surprise there) and Eric cries a whole bunch while going into borderline Jeff Goldblum mode (absolutely zero surprises there as well). If you’ve seen “Avengers: Endgame” or don’t care about spoilers be sure to stay till the very end where Eric and Tess dish about all their favorite super pals and what they thought about the movie.

The hiatus has finally been broken and librarian best buds Eric and Tess are back! Eric and Tess wind down 2018 and big up 2019 by giving out some “awards” to their friends, families, and selves! Stuffs we’re loving: Christmas lights, Christmas farms, “The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell,” and “Aquaman.” We both have tales from our library’s Staff Health and Wellness Day, and Tess shares a life lesson she’s learned about the difference between disagreements and personal attacks. Eric- Four lessons learned while walking the dogs

1. You can’t make anyone do anything.

2. When you feel as if you’re being pulled in many directions at once, you can decide how you react to it.

3. When in uncomfortable situations, imagine what the other person is feeling.

4. Discomfort will pass.

Video games, great books, and cute doggies in the library are just a few of the things our best pals, Eric and Tess, talk about in this great episode.  They also spend some time talking about a beautiful hypothetical future where people aren’t pressured to vote along party lines.
