Wowie zowie, what an episode!

Eric teases Tess with the mystery identity of a guest he’s booked for LexiCon.  Some other things discussed: the podcasts “The Legacy Music Hour” and “Harry Potter and the Sacred Text,” fun times at a bridal shower, and what swimming in smooches feels like.

After a unprecedented two fortnight long break, Eric and Tess are back in the saddle!  Some things discussed: how fast kids grow up on Fuller House (#grownmancrying), how great moms are, and how we should all treat each other with respect because we’re all people with our own thoughts, fears, hopes and dreams.

Eric and Josh talk video games while Tess gets more bored by the second, Tess talks about the movie “Black Panther” and the TV show “West World” and Josh gushes about the wonderful Seattle weather and his stellar (STELLAR I SAY!) performance eval.

Other things discussed: the shape of Eric’s head, the book “The Magicians” by Lev Grossman, the importance of friendship, Freya’s totally normal development, and how sometimes you just won’t understand someone, and that’s totally okay.

Have you ever stopped and really stared at a tree? Well apparently Eric has since he spends a large portion of this episode ranting about how beautiful trees are. Things discussed in this episode: The new Han Solo trailer, the career of comedian Gilbert Gottfried, secret shopping, the importance of monotasking, and… Trees. SO MUCH TREE TALK!

Statistically speaking most people have already given up on their New Years resolutions by now, and according to Eric and Tess, that is 100% okay.  Try to love yourselves, inside and out.  Why?  Because you deserve it.

What an amazing start to an already amazing year!

Tess talks about Pottermore eBooks, the Ash vs Evil Dead TV show, and what to do if her best friend almost dies from a beer allergy.  Eric talks about Star Wars (again?!), Freya sleeping through the night, and how he hopes Freya continues the cast after he dies… from said beer allergy.

It’s a brand new year and it’s time to celebrate!

Eric and Tess discuss surviving the stress of the holidays, how amazing left over ham (and Eric’s mom) is, and how it’s never too late to learn something new.  Oh, and Eric doesn’t know how old he is…?  Plus another short edition of the Canto Bight secret back door after hours VIP Last Jedi spoiler talk after the positivity part at the end.

It’s not every day you get a new Star Wars movie, and boy do we have one! Eric and Tess have a non-spoilery talk all about The Last Jedi, and what it could mean for the future of the franchise.  Other topics touched on include the Netflix show “The Crown,” how beautiful snow is, a 10 year wedding anniversary, and spending time with family drinking some brews.  Also Eric tears up listening to his daughter’s first words. #grownmancrying
