Same Team Y'all!

Doggy medical emergencies, delicious burritos, Riverdale, and celeb encounters, OH MY!   Eric spends some time gushing about his baby girl in a new segment, and Tess explains why its so important to walk that “creepy line” when talking to celebs on the internet.  Depression and the unfortunate stigma associated with it is also discussed.

Eric reluctantly explains to some children why Disney princesses aren’t real.  Tess describes her favorite Christmas story involving manslaughter.  They both share an amazing life lesson about how we should all feel free to experience life without worrying what others think… but we should probably avoid licking the windows of a Bob Evans.  And it is all wrapped up in a hopping positivity party that may or may not be a terrible idea.

Fathers day magic is in the air!

Eric gushes about his amazing fathers day presents, Tess gushes about the book “Team of Rivals”, and they both gush about the delicious taste of Capital Teas “Chesapeake Sunrise” flavored tea! Tales are shared about their time at the library, and Eric describes how life lessons can be learned from watching even the tiniest of babies.

Librarians Eric and Tess plan to talk about a bunch of things they love, but spend most of the episode rapping about the movies “Logan” and “Wonder Woman” instead.  If you haven’t seen “Wonder Woman” yet, do not fear, they stay spoiler free, but once you do see it be sure to stick around past the closing music for a spoiler filled discussion of “Wonder Woman”!

They bring up things they loved, things they have concerns with, all the while being respectful of each others opinions, which at it’s core is what “Same Team Y’all” is all about.

Librarians Eric and Tess discuss free comic book day, how sexy their friend Shaun is, the new show “Genius” (aka Sexy Einstein), how cool librarians generally are to be around, and how everyone should totally love their body because we all have different body types. Chances are someone thinks you’re drop dead sexy because we’re all beautiful in our own way.

Tess also shares  a lesson about how important it is to acknowledge your own awesomeness.

Librarians Eric and Tess discuss their opinions on the new Beauty and the Beast live action movie and the recently released Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2!  They also ramble their way through Twin Peaks, House of Cards, sexy dwarves (and Beast men), Eric’s daughter’s hearing aids, the upcoming Star Wars movie, charming tales from the library, and how everyone, despite their differences, can bond over their love of dogs.

Also, Eric shares an ideological crisis he had recently and we all learn an important lession about what “Same Team Y’all” really means.

On this very special episode of Same Team Y’all, Librarians Eric and Tess talk about the 2013 Man of Steel movie, how gorgeous Gal Gadot is (Gal, Eric says hi!), interesting topics in U.S. history, and give us a brief lesson in the French language.

Eric also cries describing a scene in the Thor movie, so that’s a thing that happens.

They also spend a few moments morning the loss of fellow librarian, which leads to a discussion of legacy and how all that really matters is how you treat the people around you.

In this episode of Same Team Ya’ll, librarians Eric and Tess spend some quality time, as always, talking about things that they are currently loving!

The new Power Rangers movie, episodes of Gaki No Tsukai, Eric’s daughter Freya getting her hearing aids, and the podcast “S Town” are just a few of the things that come up in today’s conversation, as well as whether or not Eric’s dog Sasha is having an asthma attack.

Through a conversation of the videogame entitled “Everything” they also get into a pretty in depth discussion involving the teachings of philosopher Alan Watts, how everything is connected (including you, me, the sun, and all the amoebas), and how we all have our own valid opinions that should be respected.
