_Fire breaks out at Maradana police station

A fire broke out at the Maradana police station.

According to the Colombo Fire Service, three fire engines have been deployed to control the blaze.

The fire has been brought under control, Maradana police said.

The cause of the fire has not yet been identified

United People's Power Party MP Harshana Rajakaruna has said that huge treasures have been found inside the Yala National Park.

However, he noted that a secret plan was being hatched to unearth the huge treasure.

So far, special projects have been planned at selected locations within the Yala Desi Wildlife Sanctuary, he said.

He also pointed out that steps are being taken to facilitate roads and helicopter landings to reach the place.

He said that the Yala forest is one of the most valuable and so far there are a large number of animals living there.

He added that the park is a huge source of income for Sri Lanka.
