The Celtics had no New Year's Eve magic in Texas. San Antonio rode a 46-point third quarter to a 120-111 victory over Boston, ending the C's road trip on a sour note.

Jaylen Brown scored 30 points off the bench, but LaMarcus Aldridge (32 points) and the Spurs were on fire, out-scoring the Celtics by 16 in that third quarter. 

Unlike in Memphis, there was no comeback to be had.
