Sanctuary Counseling Center is excited to announce the Thriving in Ministry Seminar Series beginning Tuesday, September 1st. SCC will be hosting a monthly Thriving in Ministry Seminar the first Tuesday of each month this fall at The Front Porch 4688 Walnut Grove Road at 6pm.

September kicks off with featured speaker David Montague, from Memphis Teacher Residency, discussing Persevering in Ministry. This will be an interactive seminar with panelist to poses questions to.

In episode 1 of Back To School Stress, Joey and Bill focused on stress that students often carry and how parents can wade into their child's lives and support them. Here, in episode 2, Joey and Bill turn the focus toward parents. Often parents think my child already has enough to deal with, but in actuality children need to see healthy emotional honesty from their parents. Kids learn more from modeling emotionally healthy behavior than any conversation you will ever have with them.
