In a recent podcast hosted by the SSLT (Student School Leadership Team), Dr. Miguel Saucedo, the Director of Post Secondary Strategic Intervention for Chicago Public Schools, provided valuable insights into enhancing post-secondary education opportunities for students. Dr. Saucedo's expertise illuminated the critical role strategic interventions play in guiding minorities, specifically Hispanic Students, toward success in higher education. Mr. Allen, a science teacher here at Sandburg, noticed a trend in GPA among students from their Freshman to Senior year. He spoke to us about the importance of starting strong to maintain your GPA through your high school career.
