Expressive arts is not just visual art, it also includes sandplay, movement, clay, dance and storytelling. Our new Expressive Arts teacher Irene Dudley-Swarbrick PhD explores her own creative journey and the damage that art teachers can do to our creative imaginations
Irene tries to live her life creatively, colourfully and with compassion. She is a senior academic in Counselling and Psychotherapy training, teaching both talking therapies and Person-Centred Expressive Art Therapy. Irene will be teaching an introductory weekend to our new expressive arts trainings face-to-face in Lancaster, Lancashire, England in Autumn 2022.
