My name is Sandra and I’m here to tell you inspiring and motivational stories, about finding happiness, working on your mental health, healing, personal growth, but also about creativity and how being creative helps you in your journey.

As you all may know by now, I’m going through a life changing situation in my life. Even Though the relationship ended 1,5 years ago, next month I finally moved to my own place! The new house is far from finished and it is chaos! That is part of the reason it took me a long time to post another episode. But I'm back! Back to share my stories & to inspire you.

This period is very hectic, stressful & chaotic and most of the time I'm just racing and basically in survival mode. For a short while that is not a problem, but it is not good for you if you are in survival mode for too long.

I'm very thankful for having the experiences that I have and knowing the signals now. My body telling me to slow down, and take some time to rest. In this episode I will talk about the importance of listening to your body and taking care for yourself. Those little moments of quiet are very important.

As you all may know by now, I’m going through a life changing situation in my life. Even Though the relationship ended 1,5 years ago, next month I’m finally moving to my own place! The new house will be far from finished and it feels like I’m very much behind on everything that needs to be done. I could so easily panic right now, but somehow I’m not. Why? Because this probably is the right thing for me to do. I feel this strong sense of trust and knowing that this is the right path for me. 

Renovating a house can be scary, especially the parts that I don’t know how to do myself. I really need to figure out how to find the right help, manage the money and organize everything. And then there are things that I have never done before but really love to try and do it myself. It feels exciting! 

What I hope to inspire you with in this episode is to follow your dreams, and don’t be afraid to do so. Follow your feelings, do what feels good. Your feelings truly are your best guiding system.

Hello creative explorers! Welcome to the second episode of the Sandra’s Stories Podcast. My name is Sandra and I’m here to tell you inspiring stories about finding happiness, working on your mental health, healing, personal growth, but also about creativity and how being creative helps you in your journey. Really, there is so much power in creating things and letting those creative juices flow. 

So the topic I want to cover in this episode is happiness, and how happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy. No person will make you happy unless you decide to be happy. Your happiness will not come to you. It can only come from you.

Happiness isn't something we find — it's something we learn to create..

Again that beautiful word, create, creating something, creativity. You see where I’m going :) ?

Modern life can make happiness feel like a finish line — always a few steps away. We're taught to believe that success, status, or perfection will deliver it. But those are external wins. True happiness comes from internal alignment —  Remember that word, I will probably be using that more often in my podcast.To be in alignment means that your thoughts, actions, values, and desires are working together — not against each other. It’s when who you are, what you believe, and how you live are in harmony.

Yessss! Finally the 1st podcast episode. This is something I have known for a while now that I should be doing, and I finally removed enough resistance to actually take that first step.

Today I hope to inspire you with part of my own story. I still have so much and much more to share, but that is too much for just one episode. And I need to have some stories left for other episodes as well :)

Mindset, mental health, healing, creativity, personal growth, gratitude, it all plays such a big role in my life. A lot of things may resonate with other people. And I'm certain I'm not the only single mom trying to build a business, take care of her kids and herself and wanting to live her most beautiful life.

I really hope to be an inspiration, and I'm very excited to start this journey!
