Why do companies reject so many applications if hiring and retaining employees is crucial?
Not many HR brains hiring of the people they attract and retain is crucial and can not delegated to a recruiter; who goes by the parameters indicated to them
And
Do not think any need to look into the human beings behind those applications!!
Rigid thought process cannot be equated to straight thinking.
There are two ways to go about recruitment; either you are an attractive work place yourself, or you have strategies to retain talent..
For me, being an attractive work place would have been enough in the first place. I mean, for most of us..
But here is the catch;; great workplaces may attract great talent, but may not have great leaders.
Great workplace many not have great innovative minds.
Great workplaces may be falling short of giving a clear growth path to its employees.
