Your responsibility is not an ordinary one. You are people of wisdom and understanding. As Swami Vivekananda once asked for 100 dedicated people, I say that even 30 true wisdom teachers are enough to transform the world.
What do enlightened teachers do? They simply perform their duties sincerely. When wise people carry out their responsibilities well, and when wisdom joins hands with governance, world peace can become a reality.
The seed for this change has already been planted. That is why we often say that whatever happens at Thirumoorthi Malai, the sacred South Kailash and a place of liberation, will eventually reflect in the world. A change created here influences the world, even if we do not fully realize it. A higher force guides the movement, and we move along with it.
The Earth’s temperature is rising. The polar regions are warming, and the ice there is melting. As a result, sea levels continue to rise. This is not a recent issue. Since the 1990s, people have been urging the world to pay attention to global warming.
Humanity must treat global warming with the same seriousness as a world war and work together to protect the planet. If we fail to do so, the consequences will be severe.
The year 2012 marks a significant period of change. What kind of change? A positive and beneficial transformation.

In the 20th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan explains the meaning of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, “Chitta Vritti Nirodha,” and how one can attain this state of inner stillness.

Yoga is practiced for one purpose: the purification of the *chitta* (the deeper mind-consciousness). But how can the chitta be purified?
When we go deeper into the chitta, we discover that it does not contain only the impressions created in this present life. It holds the records accumulated through many lifetimes. That is why it takes countless years of evolution for a soul to attain a human birth and receive this body.
For this reason, human birth is considered rare and precious. As the saying goes, “Rare indeed is the opportunity to be born as a human being.”
Yet, even after attaining human birth, one cannot easily free oneself from the bonds and tendencies carried over from many previous births. Because of these lingering impressions, many people continue to live driven only by the five senses. Such individuals possess a human body, but true inner growth has not yet awakened within them.
They may have a brain, but wisdom has not fully developed. That is why elders often ask children, “Do you have any sense?” The child may simply look back, as if to say, “If you have it, then I have it too!” Today’s children are often quick-witted and intelligent in their own way.
When *prana* and *apana* are properly regulated through yogic practice, a remarkable transformation takes place. In pranayama, the stages are inhalation (pooragam), retention (kumbhakam), exhalation (rechagam), and a final pause (soonyakam). Through balanced practice, one naturally enters the fourth state—a state of pure stillness, free from thoughts, known as *Shunya*.
What happens when one reaches this state?
If you become established in that stillness, the Supreme becomes accessible to you. This is true *paravasam* (blissful ecstasy).
People often use the word “paravasam” for ordinary pleasures. They say, “I feel ecstatic,” but if a speck of dust enters the eye, that ecstasy disappears. Someone enjoys a sweet and says, “I am in bliss,” but once the taste is gone, so is the feeling.
That is not true *paravasam*. Real *paravasam* arises when one comes under the influence of the Supreme and becomes united with the Divine.

May he make this GnanaPeedam his spiritual abode and remain here, fulfilling the purpose of his present birth. This is a precious opportunity bestowed upon him. May he continue to reside in this GnanaPeedam and reveal the treasures of the Pranava Veda. Through the spread of *One-Language Meditation* across the world, may people gradually free themselves from undesirable tendencies and cultivate higher qualities. This Pranava Meditation possesses the power to transform even the effects of karma. While the consequences of past actions inevitably follow one's life, this sacred practice offers the strength to rise above karmic limitations and overcome their influence.
It also empowers individuals to fulfill their aspirations and attain success in all righteous endeavors. May he regard this Gnanapeedam as his mother’s home and continue unveiling the extraordinary wisdom of the Pranava Veda for the benefit of the world. May he remain here for many years to come, blessed with health, strength, and abundant grace.

In the 20th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Unveils a Vision of Waterways to Transform Bharat!

To establish National waterways, we do not need great wealth. We only need unity of mind. If we are united, we can create waterways. Tamil Nadu is already setting an example in this direction. I extend my wishes for the long life and success of the Tamil Nadu Government and the Chief Minister. Tamil Nadu is shining as a beacon of hope for all of India. By connecting waterways, Tamil Nadu can achieve economic growth and reduce rising temperatures. As the benefits become visible, the idea can spread across India. If waterways are linked throughout the country, India will witness a major transformation.
Therefore, the Central Government should carefully consider this proposal and take practical steps toward its implementation. If it does, this vision can certainly become a reality.
My dear friends, are you ready to make this happen? If each one of us contributes according to our ability, through physical effort or financial support we can make a difference. Even if every person offers just one day of labor, India can harness the immense power of its people. This human strength is one of the greatest resources in the world, yet it has not been fully utilized.
The people of India possess physical strength, mental strength, and intellectual ability. Today, Indians across the world are helping many nations prosper through their knowledge and skills. If India acts with determination, it will surely move forward on the path of success.
For this purpose, Professor and Engineer A. C. Kamaraj has designed an excellent plan. May he prosper, and may his project succeed. Can we do something to support this project? Can we offer a day of physical labor? Can we contribute financially? Whether one gives a single rupee or a crore rupees, it is an act of service. If we sincerely wish for the project to be completed, it can certainly be achieved. At present, more than money or labor, we need a united intention. If each of you prays every day for the creation of waterways, that itself is enough. As these wishes spread across India, the Central Government will surely take steps toward this effort. March 21 is World Forest Day, and March 22 is World Water Day. Guru has envisioned doing something meaningful on World Water Day. Likewise, April 22 is Earth Day. On these important days, we must bring about a significant change. The Guru is preparing a plan for this purpose. Velvi is still continuing and will go on for three more days. Until the Tamil New Year arrives, we will continue to gather with the aim that the lives of Tamils prosper and that, through Tamil Nadu, India prospers as well. We will certainly build the waterways.

In the 20th velvi discourse, Gurumahan emphasizes that in the state of Self (Atma), there is no friend or foe, all is one!

All living beings must live in this world.  
In the past, we did not know farming; we ate whatever we found, without knowing the cause.  
We lived by what we saw and what we had. Now we have become wise and learned. We perform Sarva Sakthi Siddhi Yagnam, wishing the world to be well.  
Even if someone killed our father, we say: “Circumstance made him do it. May you also live well.”  We bless even his family: “Om Subramanya, live; Om Subramanya’s family, live.”  
Forgiving and forgetting are the highest virtues of humanity. To think of harming other beings is sin.  To speak of harm is sin. To act in harm is sin.  
Therefore, all beings must live. Show love. Show love to all creatures. In that love, all beings will stay close to us. When you show love, even animals come near. Once you reach the state of the Self, there is no friend, no enemy. All is one.  
Friend and foe exist only in the mind, not in the soul. So, my beloved seekers of wisdom, realize the nature of the Self. Live as the Self in this world. Fulfill your duties. Attain the state beyond rebirth. May you reach complete blessedness.

Personal discipline and wisdom are the highest qualities a person can attain. That is why we provide practices in Maha Sri Yogam ( Present Maha Sakthi Yogam), to help individuals strengthen self-discipline and grow in wisdom. Today, the nations of the world need to come together and take strong, positive action to reduce global warming. Unfortunately, they have not yet made the necessary decisions.
As global temperatures continue to rise, living organisms may undergo many changes. New genetic diseases could emerge, and some of them may become deadly. In certain cases, humanity may discover treatments only after many lives have already been affected.
Therefore, it is our responsibility to protect this world from destruction and preserve it for future generations.
My respected teachers and seekers of wisdom, let us accept this responsibility with sincerity and moral commitment. Let each of us do what we can, within our families, our communities, our nations, and across the world. We must work together to awaken awareness among people and encourage them to protect our planet.
This is our duty.

Protecting nature is the duty of human beings. Other living beings know how to live, but they do not possess analytical intelligence. They know only how to protect themselves; they do not know how to protect nature. However, only human beings, who are manifestations of the Primordial Source, have the intelligence to protect themselves, their families, their society, their nation, and this entire world. When a person becomes aware of the movement of the Supreme Intelligence within, that higher intelligence enables them to skillfully manage everything related to limited human knowledge.
Through the compassion of that Supreme Intelligence, human beings receive new and innovative creative abilities. Even today, we continue to expand our creative capabilities. In the field of genetics, new modifications are being created in agriculture, and some of these experiments may have harmful effects on the human body. Therefore, my dear researchers, do not conduct research solely for profit or economic gain. Let your research create positive benefits for humanity. For human beings to live well, all living creatures must exist in balance. Humanity cannot live alone on this Earth. Human life depends on the functioning of the five elements. It depends on the movements of the planets and the stars. The body functions through the five elements, the mind is influenced by planetary vibrations, and the life force is affected by the stars. These three forces must work harmoniously to support human life.
That is why, in this Velvi and within Pranavalayam, invocations are offered to the five elements, the nine planets, and the stars. This Velvi is also performed to fulfill the divine work of great saints, sages, and Siddhas, those invisible enlightened beings who, through many births, have longed to protect and preserve this Earth.
That is why there was deep fervor during this Velvi. Through intense meditation with a half-open gaze, the eyes are repeatedly drawn back into a state of silence. Yet, it continues to speak through these senses because it wishes to offer words of blessing to you.
My beloved ones, if the future world is to flourish, it lies in the hands of Bharat. Bharat will certainly guide the world. At the same time, we must also work toward the economic advancement of this nation.

The Sarva Sakthi Siddhi Yaga encourages people to bless all beings, the five elements, the planets, the stars, and the Universe itself. As the mind expands through such thoughts, negative qualities like desire, anger, and hatred diminish, allowing divine qualities to flourish.
Every person is born with a pure and divine soul, but life’s circumstances often hide this inner light. Through self-realization, meditation, and the guidance of an enlightened Guru, individuals can rediscover their true nature and awaken their spiritual potential.
Through the efforts of enlightened teachers, wisdom, meditation, and self-knowledge are being shared to help people become seekers of truth. If even one percent of humanity gains this wisdom, the world can become more peaceful and harmonious.
Throughout history, great spiritual masters have appeared to guide humanity. They taught that no one is born evil; circumstances shape behavior. By awakening the divine nature within every person, negative tendencies can be transformed into goodness.
When people cultivate compassion, wisdom, and positive thoughts, they contribute to the reform of society and the creation of a peaceful world. Therefore, violence, hatred, and extremism must give way to understanding, unity, and lasting peace.

In the 20th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Explains the Origin of Creation, the Primordial sound OM and predictions by Mayan Calendar.

In the beginning, the Supreme Reality, Brahman, existed by itself. There was no creation, no Universe , and no individual forms. When this primordial consciousness awakened from its state of stillness, it experienced its own bliss. From that bliss arose the sacred vibration OM. This vibration spread throughout existence and became the cosmic sound that fills the entire Universe.
The Pranava Light of Om transformed into the Supreme Divine Light, and from this Divine Light all worlds emerged. Before light came sound, before sound came thought, and thought itself was the primordial source. This original essence exists within every form of creation.
At its core, this primordial essence is pure love, pure knowledge, and pure energy. It contains the power of attraction, dynamic force, and creative intelligence. Because of these qualities, it possesses the powers of creation, preservation, and transformation. What first existed as the Supreme Atom gradually manifested as subtle particles, atoms, the five elements, and eventually the entire Universe. This primal reality is present everywhere. There is no place where it does not exist. Those who truly understand the meaning of Om realize that Om pervades all existence. When one experiences Om within oneself, nothing remains separate from it.
Gurumahan explains that the Pranava vibration forms the foundation of creation. He refers to ancient traditions that describe Tamil as one of humanity’s most ancient languages and states that the Pranava wisdom is deeply connected to this sacred heritage.
Drawing upon the calculations and insights of the ancient sage and master architect Mayan, Gurumahan explains that changes occurring in the heavens are reflected on Earth. The same divine principle that exists in the cosmos also exists within every living being. This primordial essence is the source, the foundation, and the fullness of all existence.
Gurumahan further explains that humanity is living in a time of increasing environmental and planetary changes. Ancient calculations have suggested the possibility of significant Earth changes during certain cosmic periods. These changes could manifest in different ways and may even include major shifts in the Earth's systems.
Therefore, the Velvi is performed with a noble purpose to invoke positive transformation, protect the world from destructive outcomes, and ensure the well-being of all living beings. Through Velvi, Gurumahan seeks to promote harmony, peace, and a better future for the entire world.
