When you spend months growing food in the garden, it doesn't do it justice to just gobble it down. It needs to be celebrated in the kitchen and honoured in the meal.

However I'm not all that great a cook so my efforts to honour my cabbage harvest went a little awry.

To distract myself from the heat I've been making 'shrubs' they are that hottest thing for cooling down and staying hydrated. They're super easy to make and really delish.

Today I'm in the garden again looking for meal ideas. I had a idea but needed to change it at the last moment.
