Happy Friday theatre lovers! This week’s guest is Ashley Carlisle. We chat about her passion for all the intricacies of directing, including trusting your cast and crew to bring their own shine to a show and the anxieties on both sides of auditions. We also chat a bit about Clue and Ashley lets us in on a few behind the scenes secrets. Ashely is radiant and intelligent but also has a gentle warmth that makes her sense of humor a delightful surprise. On with the show.  

This is still easily one of my favorite episodes. Thrice we re-recorded this interview thanks to technical difficulties. Emily is a patient, positively delightful human and I still so appreciate her sense of humor and willingness to roll with the technical punches.
