Varun completed his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2014 and worked as a junior doctor at Monash Health in internal medicine before transitioning to General Practice.

Since completing General Practice training in 2020 he has also commenced further training in HIV medicine, and Sexual Health for all individuals.

Clinical interests include: General preventive medicine, Chronic disease management, Sexual Health, and Mental health.

Varun talks to Macca and Kenny about New medication for prep that is a 6-monthly injection,  and how the bulk-billing issue is playing out.

Richard Keane is CEO of Living Positive Victoria, a community-based organization representing people living with HIV. He has worked in health promotion and community development for decades and is a leader in challenging stigma, advocating for health equity, and empowering people living with HIV through lived experience.

Richard joined Macca, Kenny and Varun live in the studio as they discuss world AIDS day + multicultural engagement strategy being launched on Monday 24 Nov.
