A student of Sri Dharma Mittra, Sam is dedicated to deepening her practice through constant practice and self-reflection. With additional studies in forgiveness, meditation, Healing Touch, coaching, and the Enneagram, Sam supports students in the self-discovery necessary to live their practice off the mat. An avid traveller who loves learning from different cultures, she has taught yoga in Morocco, volunteered in Ghana, explored meditation in SE Asia, studied flamenco dance in Spain, and served as a karma yogi at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat  in the Bahamas. She is honored to serve as a mentor in the Dharma Yoga Life of a Yogi Teacher Training program where she is able to be in the presence of a true living yogi. Swami Kashi Muktananda has been living in the Himalayas of India and Sivananda ashrams for the past 20 years. He learned Sanskrit, Hindi, and Vedanta philosophy from his guru, Swami Chaitanyananda of Uttarkashi, a direct disciple of Swami Sivananda. His down-to-earth approach and loving nature make him an ideal bridge between the ancient yogic teachings and a Western audience.

Pablo Narayana was born in Mexico City in 1985. He studied International Business at Universidad Panamericana, as he was afraid to follow his heart and study a humanistic career that was what he really wanted. He thought it was his duty to make money and wear a tie and jacket every single day. In 2008 he finished university and a big change in his life made him approach to photography as a career. In addition to being a photographer he is passionate about innovation, technology and media, so since 2013 gives consultancy to companies that want to improve their way of communicating.  In 2011 he took a Yoga class and his life started to change (again), never thinking he would become a yoga teacher he went to an ashram to deepen his own practice. Since then, over the past 4 years he lived in ashrams learning from great teachers. Part of his practice is sharing what he has learned. He has been sober since 2010 and puts all the possible time into working with other addicts.

ASATO MA SAT GAMAYA TAMASO MA JYOTIR GAMAYA MRITYOR MA AMRITAM GAMAYA

Also known as the Pavamana Mantra, it translates into: Lead me from the unreal to the Real, from darkness to Light, from mortality to Immortality.

This mantra was commented by Krishnananda in 1977, saying: "The light that we see in this world is really a form of darkness, [...] all forms of life are forms of death only. They are not realities. The sunlight is not real light, because it is not intelligent. [...] So, the prayer is for a total rise from this involved, insufficient, conditioned 'being' to the absolutely independent, unconditioned 'Being' which is simultaneously Sat, Jyotir and Amritam – Existence, Light, Enlightenment, Consciousness, Omniscience and Immortality. No rebirth is possible there." We chant this mantra with the intention of letting go of all false concepts of who we are, concepts that we are bound by our body, mind and that we think to be mortal. Overcoming these concepts by unveiling the human ignorance leads us to the understanding and awareness of our true Nature and Existence.

Swamini Satyapremananda is a 500-hour yoga teacher and a student of the Upanishads at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam in Pennsylvania. There, she is furthering the study of Sanskrit and Vedanta that began over 10 years ago. Swamini Satyapremananda took sannyasa initiation in 2016 and inspires many on the path to Self knowledge.
