Join us this week for an in-depth discussion on the darker side of Canada's history. For a country that often likes to pride itself of being multicultural and welcoming to all, we find that it's darker side of history challenges those notions. We discuss everything - from the impact of residential schools and the treatment of Aboriginals to the marginalization of other immigrant groups that didn't fit the prescribed mold of that time. We discuss why it's important to look at the fuller picture and how these historically dark roots still impact society today.
