This same lesson can be applied today, for we all need guidance from knowledgeable individuals in our lives, and this ensures that we are taking the best course of action. A Rabbi or Rebbe can provide valuable insight into difficult situations, helping us make informed decisions that minimize risks and maximize rewards. By following their wisdom, we may avoid many potential calamities. By listening to wise advice from those we trust, we can rest assured that we are taking steps to protect ourselves and our loved ones from harm. The Jewish people did not heed Mordechai's warnings, but we must not make the same mistake. Let us strive to learn from their example and continually seek trustworthy guidance on how to best prepare for whatever life throws our way. No matter what challenges come our way, when we follow wise counsel and remain vigilant in safeguarding ourselves and our loved ones, no amount of adversity can stand in our way. The story of Mordechai and the Jewish people in Persia is a reminder to listen to the proper authority figures at the right time. Save Yourself. Get a Rebbe.
