Paul exhorts the Corinthian church to deal with ongoing unrepentant sin in the church. Believers should not continue in serious sin, but they can, and when they do, the most merciful thing the church can do is exercise church discipline, that they might turn from their sin and enjoy forgiveness.

In this part of Corinthians, we are going to learn about what it means to be a true disciple making Christian from the words of the apostle Paul.

The Mighty Men of Valor were men who were all in for their King. Today these men are examples to us who call Jesus Christ our King.

We are at war. Our King has called us to give our lives to training under and fighting for His cause. When all of God's men are all in, all win.

We live in the day of the Celebrity Pastor. Famous pastors. Rock star pastors, who speak at conferences, often have television ministries or lead megachurches. Is this wrong? Not necessarily. But we humans have a tendency to attach ourselves to men, and this can be dangerous. Paul addresses factions in Corinth and reminds us of all we have in Christ.
