The Celtics comeback from a 15pt deficit to beat the Thunder 126-122!!! Marcus Smart was as good as it gets in this one racking up 22pts 5reb and 8ast and was a perfect 4-4 from the field with 4st in the 4th quarter contributing to 19 of Boston's 37pts. While Smart was incredible in this one, it is hard to talk about this game without mentioning Derrick White and Payton Pritchard as well. Pritchard single handedly changed the momentum in the third quarter with a deeeeep 3 to beat the shot clock on a terrible possession followed up by a huge steal and transition layup to beat the buzzer at the end of the third. Pritchard's hustle plays never cease to amaze me but this is his 3rd straight game making a good impact in Brogdon's absence. Derrick White was another one who was amazing tonight with 16pts 5ast and 4stl and a team high (by a 14pt margin!!) +21.

Our guard play was outstanding and with that happening in the absence of Brogdon, it is even sweeter. The Celtics picked up their 7th straight win and, in doing so, moved into 1st Place in the Eastern Conference with the Bucks loss tonight. It is very early in the season to get all excited over first place especially after being under .500 in January last year. There is a lot of time left and anything can happen but considering we are doing this without Timelord, I'm hoping this is a sign of great things to come!
