Early on the podcast, we tried a sampler bottle of this Balcones Texas Rye, coming in at 100 proof, and yet aged only 1 year! We were blown away by the chocolate notes on this rye from Waco, Texas. We knew we HAD to come back to it with a full bottle at some point, and this was that point! Unlike any rye you've ever tried, this Texas Rye from Balcones is pretty incredible!

For this holiday season, W2's oldest son Ethan joined us for some tasty treats, a barrel aged stout from Goose Island, and a cocktail that screams Thanksgiving! Let's get into this holiday season NOW!
