Say It Loud! Podcast with Fair City Fire Matt Jones

Host, Matt Jones, and Fair City Fire sat down with James Whelan, a marketing associate from The SIMS Foundation. If you aren't familiar... Sims helps people musicians, music industry professionals and their families by providing access to mental health services. Listen as we dig into why it's important and why Fair City Fire has gotten themselves involved. This one gets deep... Almost as deep as James' voice...

We sat down with the one and only, Carson McHone. We talked about what it was like performing at Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL), receiving the coveted Black Fret grant, navigating the country music world (the whole big one not just the part in Austin) and plenty of other stuff. We love Carson's music and especially her lyrics. Check it out!

Fair City Fire and our host Matt Jones had a blast having Kristopher Potrafka on the 25th edition of the Say It Loud Podcast. For those of you who may not know... Kris is a huge supporter of the Austin Music scene and of the band specifically. He is also the CEO/ Founder of Music Firsthand, which you really should take some time to check out and learn about if you love music like we do! Give it a listen... this was a good one.

Host Matt Jones and Fair City Fire had phenomenal Austin singer-songwriter Chris Strand on the podcast. We talked about writing, being in a band in Austin, collaboration, Brett Montgomery Winning's horrendous spelling abilities and so much more.

Check out the 23rd installment of The Say It Loud Podcast featuring incredible local singer/songwriter Sydney Wright. Matt Jones and Fair City Fire talked with Sydney about the magic of tasteful looping, Erykah Badu, Halloween, etc. We got delightfully weird.

We had the honor of having Edison Chair on the "Say it Loud" Podcast to talk about the music biz, rockin back in the high school days and of course our show with them coming up at Stubb's Austin tomorrow night!!! Edison Chair ft. Nomad City, Fair City Fire & Sydney Wright. Check it out!

Hey YOU! YEAH YOU! Check out the latest installment of the "Say It Loud" Podcast featuring the one and only, Jackie Venson. We talked about a little bit of everything including what it's like to tour with Gary Clark Jr, how we met her and a glorious story from a little bar way out in West Texas including an on-air phone call to verify. She is an incredibly talented woman and she is also totally hilarious! Check it out!

Our "Say it Loud" Podcast host, Matt Jones has put together a special mashup episode for Fair City Fire's Too Damn Hot Affair 2017. We've had each band on tonight's lineup, Finite Fidelity, That Girl Dre, Dr. Joe and of course yours truly, on before so he put some highlights together. It's a fun, silly, ridiculous, mildly informative listen. Enjoy.
