It started with a video playing in the background and a rhythm that made me stop scrolling.
I didn't know who Karol G was. I didn't go looking for her. Something catchy caught my attention and I wondered — who is this?
And that small moment of curiosity opened an entire world.
In this episode I share what happened when I followed that pull — her story, her music, a video filmed in a small coastal town that made me feel something I wasn't expecting. And what I discovered about the invisible invitations life sends us every single day.
The ones that arrive before the mind can say no.
If you've ever followed a small yes and ended up somewhere you never planned — this one is for you.
Stay curious. — Mercy
It was a regular week. Doctor appointments. Drives I kept postponing. The traffic concern. The parking worry. All the completely reasonable reasons to stay close to home.
And then — one by one — something kept happening.
A friend I couldn't postpone anymore. A Neuroscience department full of strangers with the warmest smiles. A Friday night in Miami Beach that almost didn't happen. A question in an interview that made me see the whole week at once.
Gratitude didn't arrive because I went looking for it. It ambushed me.
In this episode I'm sharing a week that looked ordinary from the outside — and the tiny treasures hiding inside every moment I almost talked myself out of.
Maybe you had a week like this too. Maybe the treasures were there and you didn't see them yet.
Stay curious. 🎙️ — Mercy
Have you ever received a handful of flowers from someone... and still couldn't let go of the one thing that stung?
That's where this episode begins. A lunch with friends, a passing comment, and a question that slipped in quietly and wouldn't leave: Am I too much?
From that moment, Mercy traces something she's carried since childhood — the shy little girl who always knew things she couldn't explain, who learned to dress her knowing in apologetic language. Just a thought. Don't mind me. It's probably nothing.
And then one day, a woman named Brené Brown stepped onto a TED stage and named out loud what Mercy had already known for years. Not new information. Recognition. And with it — unexpectedly — permission.
This is a quiet episode about the difference between learning something and recognizing something. About the knowing that lives in you before anyone gives it a name. And about the permission none of us knew we were waiting for.
Stay curious.
Do you take the same route every single morning... and have absolutely no idea why?
In this episode, Mercy follows one small habit — her route to her parents' house — all the way to a bigger question: how many of the choices we make every day don't really feel like choices at all?
From the backseat voice that rises up when someone takes the wrong turn, to a season of life that looked like empowerment and wasn't quite — Mercy traces the quiet programs running underneath the everyday. The automatic. The familiar. The seamless.
This isn't about blaming the program. It's about getting just a little curious about it.
Grab your coffee. Let's take a small detour.
Have you ever had a song play in your head that you couldn't explain? Not a song you love. Not an artist you follow. Just a melody that showed up uninvited and wouldn't leave.
That happened to me with Sign of the Times by Harry Styles — a song I heard once in a movie theater and somehow couldn't shake for days.
In this episode I share what I did with it, what I found when I stopped resisting it, and why I think the songs that find us unexpectedly might be worth paying attention to.
Maybe the universe has its own playlist for each of us.
Say It Mercy — see life with curiosity.
Why is it so easy to share our lives with strangers? That question has been sitting with me for a while now — and in this episode, I let it wander. From the early days of Facebook to the psychology of the hook, from social media pile-ons to a director friend who always said a movie only needs to do one of two things. We talk about why we react, why we click, why we watch — and what it might look like to just... notice that. No correcting anyone. Just a little awareness, and a question or two to carry with you.

Why are so many people recording videos from their cars?
In this light and curious episode, Mercy reflects on the unexpected “magic” of the car — that small, private space where thoughts get louder, memories resurface, and the sudden urge to call someone appears out of nowhere.
Is it the motion?
The solitude?
The fact that no one is watching?
From spontaneous phone calls to full-volume singing sessions, this episode explores the very human impulse to share, connect, and give voice to what’s on our minds.
No heavy conclusions.
No deep analysis.
Just noticing — with curiosity and a smile.

Sometimes it isn’t the brilliance of a question that creates transformation — it’s the space and timing in which it’s asked.
In this episode of Say It Mercy, Mercy reflects on two personal moments when a simple, well-timed question shifted her perspective before she even answered. Through story and gentle insight, she explores how we unconsciously translate experiences into narratives — and how a powerful question can interrupt patterns we didn’t realize we were living inside.
This is a quiet conversation about self-authority, presence, and the kind of listening that allows insight to emerge from within.
A soft invitation to notice the story you may be telling… and the question that might be ready to land.

Welcome to the very first episode of Say It Mercy.
This is not a launch announcement.
Not a dramatic entrance.
Just… a quiet beginning.
In this episode, I explore the kind of beginnings that don’t arrive loudly — the ones that emerge softly, almost unnoticed, and slowly become part of who we are.
Have you ever felt something shifting inside you before you had words for it?
Not something to explain… just something that begins.
This conversation is light, reflective, and spacious — like sitting across from someone who is simply wondering out loud and inviting you to do the same.
No pressure.
No fixing.
No performing.
Just a gentle invitation to notice what may already be emerging within you.
Until next time… I wonder what quiet beginning might be unfolding in your life.
